Introduction to International A Levels (IAL)

Developed in consultation with the international school community, including a large number of teachers and university lecturers, Pearson Edexcel International A Levels (IAL) areone of the world’s most popular, globally recognised pre-university curriculum pathways for 16-18-year-olds.

Recognised by universities worldwide as the pre-requisite entry requirement, IALs are designed to be engaging for international students, and to give them the necessary skills to support progression to higher and further study.

IALs use the popular and flexible modular approach which mean exams are taken at the end of each unit of study, or throughout the programmeof study when a student feels prepared and ready, or all together at the end the course.
